Welcome to College of the Marshall Islands and the Office of Safety & Security. The office is concerned primarily with maintaining the highest level of security possible on the College's campus and within the College's facilities. The College's security officers are not police officers and they do not carry firearms; any criminal investigations are conducted by the Marshall Islands Department of Public Safety.
Because the safety and security of the College is the shared responsiblity of all who live, work and study on the campus, members of the College community are encouraged and expected to use common sense where personal safety is concerned and to report any suspicious or criminal activities to the office of Safety and Security at (692)625-6416 Local 274.
Even though the college community is dedicated to providing a safe environment, we are also mindful that crime can and does happen. In an attempt to keep students; faculty; staff and visitors informed of criminal activity on campus, the Office of Safety and Security has provided the sources of information below:
