Peer-to-Peer Educators

What is Peer to Peer Educators (P2P)?

The Theme is “Break the Cycle”.  It is a group of students that are educating their peers and classmates to chance their behaviors towards substance abuse. And educate and promoting awareness to students so that they may overcome difficulties in order to be academically successful.

Iakwe! I am Chinia Richard.

I am from the FSM, Pohnpei.  I am a sophomore and I have been a P2P member for two years.  I am also a P2P program lead.  I enjoy working as a P2P, it had help me feel more confident and be positive toward my life and my studies. I help students to make the right choices and avoid substance abuse especially drugs.

Iakwe! My name is Rosenet Timius.

I am a new student, a freshmen and also a new P2P member.  My focus area is Tobacco and smokeless tobacco. I’ve worked and done awareness for CMI students based on the risk factors of tobacco, and how it can cause cancer. I believe that a smokeless person can live longer and have a healthy life.

My name is Eute Jibke.

I am a new P2P member and I am majoring in Education. I love the work P2P is doing. My main topic is Marijuana.  I am teaching my fellow classmates and CMI students the dangers and risks of using Marijuana.

Hi! My name is Liboke Martinez.

I am a sophomore majoring in Education. I am a new P2P member. My topic area is Alcohol. I do awareness, presentations and radio spot on alcohol and the effects of drinking alcohol. I have learned so much from the other P2P members and we hope students can stop or try not to drink alcohol if they want to have a successful life.

Iakwe! My name is Douglas Enos. 

I am a sophomore student and currently a new member of the Peer to Peer Educators (P2P), majoring in Liberal Art. My field of work in this group is encourage and advice student to avoid using meth. Overall my working experiences, I would say that being a (P2P) member, I have gained more hands on working skills, and more flexibility in group work. Last but not least, I’m deeply honor to work with students because their success future is not for themselves but also for their family and love ones.

Major: Business

He is Lead Alcohol Awareness person and a mentor for substance and misuse at risk CMI students.

Hobbies: Love to read and play basketball.

Major: Business

Her main topic to cover is Tobacco and Marijuana. She is in her Sophomore year and like to help students with personal and social issues.

Hobbies: Reading and play Ping-Pong
