The mission of Academic Affairs at the College of the Marshall Islands is to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic excellence and student success. We provide accessible, high-quality education that supports student achievement while honoring Marshallese culture and contributing to national development.

Our goal is to prepare students for success while supporting the progress and sustainability of the Marshallese community.

The Dean of Academic Affairs at the College of the Marshall Islands provides leadership and oversight for all academic programs and faculty to ensure high-quality teaching and learning. The Dean supports curriculum development, faculty growth, and student success while promoting innovation and maintaining academic standards. Working closely with department chairs, the VPASA, and other campus units, the Dean ensures that programs align with CMI’s mission, accreditation standards, and the educational needs of the Marshallese community.
