CMI Youth Corp Gives Back to the Community

On March 27, 2020 CMI Youth Corps made donations to the Morning Star Church and the CMI Carpentry students. The handmade products were built by the students that participated in the Construction Trade Boot Camp training last year. The pulpit was given to the Morning Star Church and the two wooden bench press were handed to the CMI Carpentry students. The handover ceremony was also attended by the National Training Council, the organization that jointly funded the training. As a token of appreciation, the Youth Corps program had decided to give back to the community for contributing to the success of the training.

Witnessing the ceremony was CMI’s Adult & Continuing Education Dean Rigieta Lord, Youth Corps Director Elmi Keju, Pastor Rusiate Musudroka Turaga, Assistant Pastor Randon Leon (Training Participant), and NTC Monitoring and Evaluation Manager John Mar.
